iLoupe app for iPhone and iPad

iLoupe is an electronic loupe which offers various application possibilities. It can be used for example to read small print in contracts or advertisements, to observe insects or to inspect workpieces.

The app offers two possibilities of magnification. First with the live view, which provides a quick image magnification at a lower image quality. Or second by taking a photo, which can be looked at without hurry at a high image quality and a 22 times superzoom.

This application has an integrated digital image stabilizer, which facilitates reading and inspecting by compensating the inconvenient unsteadiness of the camera especially at a high zoom.

For a better presentation of the font the app allows to converted the colored image into a Black & White image. The threshold of the Black & White image is adjustable by means of a slider. All pixels, which are darker than the threshold, are displayed in black. All pixels, which are lighter than the threshold, are displayed in white. Thanks to the contrasty presentation reading of small print is no longer a problem.

iLoupe offers a wide variety of application possibilities:
- reading of small font sizes
- observing insects (ants, bees, beetle, etc.), stones, plants, etc.
- inspecting solderings points on printed circuit boards
- identifying the type of integrated circuits or other semiconductor devices
